Ganja Nidra

Relax, slow down, and travel inward during this 75-minute cannabis-infused Yoga Nidra practice.

How it works

We use cannabis as an ally and tool to help us shift out of our ordinary states of consciousness. This is incredibly helpful if we struggle to quiet the chatter in our minds, quell the turbulence of heightened emotions, or slow our physical pace. It can also transport you into new realms, inspire epiphanies, enhance proprioception, and expand your awareness. In this practice, you are invited to partake in this medicine while being guided through a Chakra Meditation to connect with your energetic fields. You decide how much, if any, cannabis you would like to have based on what you need that day. CBD and indica dominant strains work well for this practice; but please, choose the strain that resonates with you.

You’ll then relax back in a comfortable and supported Savasana for Yoga Nidra with some gentle crystal bowls in the background. Yoga Nidra is a practice in total systematic conscious relaxation. Considered “Psychic Sleep,” this practice is designed to relax your body through general relaxation, a rotation of consciousness touching different parts of your body, and a pranayama practice. The body sleeps as the mind remains awake and alert in a state of Alpha Brainwaves, the space between conscious and unconscious. In this state, we’ll continue into various visualizations and a guided meditation before returning to the body.
