Equinox Glowga & Gongs

The astronomical event of the bi-annual equinox has been celebrated for eons of time. For ages, it was through the cycling of such events that time was marked and celebrated. Ancient cultures were in touch with these cycles and made accurate, circular calendars to record it. They built sacred structures that aligned with these solar cycles and have infused these days with their energies, making them powerful days.

The Autumnal Equinox is a moment of balance and marks the arrival of Fall.  It signals change in nature as animals begin to stockpile food and flowers, grasses, and leaves begin to change out of the greens into the gorgeous reds, oranges, yellows, and eventually browns. The cycle of nature is felt as we experience this shift into endings and we are reminded of the transient nature of life. As we watch leaves fluttering to the ground in the fall, we are reminded that nature’s cycles are mirrored in our lives. Autumn is a time for letting go and releasing things that have been a burden.

Join us on September 23 to mark this change in the seasons. Flow through a meditative blacklight yoga class to release gross burdens from your body. Release and relax as you surrender into your mat and are guided through a yoga nidra meditation and into the gong bath. While in this cosmic, healing ether, you have the opportunity to release any stale or damaging burden. The power of the crescendos is where the most amount of release can be experienced as the waves of vibrations wash over and through you, cleansing you of energetic burdens. We will reground you through a variety of earth instruments, inviting you to rejoin your body refreshed, balanced, and free of the unnecessary.
